{"id":26133,"date":"2018-11-17T12:00:03","date_gmt":"2018-11-17T12:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/?p=26133"},"modified":"2018-11-17T12:00:03","modified_gmt":"2018-11-17T12:00:03","slug":"england-vs-croatia-what-are-the-permutation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/england-vs-croatia-what-are-the-permutation\/","title":{"rendered":"England vs Croatia- What are the permutation?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>After Croatia\u2019s\u00a0dramatic\u00a0last-minute winner against Spain, England&#8217;s hopes of winning the group have been kept alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But the result also means that even a draw could see Gareth Southgate\u2019s men relegated\u00a0in a winner takes all match at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>A win for England will see them continue their good form after their summer exploits, and will progress them into the semi-finals of the Nations League next summer.<\/p>\n<p>Losing though will see them relegated to League B, where Wales and the Republic of Ireland currently play, and Croatia, who knocked England out in Russia, will progress.<\/p>\n<p>Although this will not be a disaster it will certainly be a slight dent to the feel good factor around a youthful squad.<\/p>\n<p>The other permutations come if the game ends in a draw.
