Easily one of the biggest British metal acts in history, the ground-breaking four piece have reached astronomical heights, with six chart-topping studio albums and headlining London\u2019s Alexandra Palace earlier this month. Reinventing metal over and over with monumental speed, technical prowess and arena-filling choruses, tracks such as \u2018Letting You Go<\/em>\u2019 \u2018Your Betrayal<\/em>\u2019 and of course, \u2018You Want a Battle (Here\u2019s a War)<\/em>\u2019 showcase the band\u2019s versatility as leaders of British metal. Another exciting reveal, Bullet For My Valentine are to deliver a ground-breaking performance, headlining one of Slam Dunk\u2019s iconic stages.<\/p>\n Another astounding Slam Dunk debut performance will come from hardcore heroesGlassjaw.<\/strong>\u00a0Fronted by Daryl Palumbo and Justin Beck, Glassjaw are arguably one of the most influential bands in the underground music scene, due to their visceral sound, zealous live performances and intense history. ‘Material Control’<\/em>, their expertly crafted follow-up to their 2002 masterpiece release ‘Worship and Tribute’<\/em>, cemented the band\u2019s post-hardcore cult status. Following a monumental headline performance at London\u2019s Brixton Academy, Glassjaw will return to the UK for\u00a0Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong>, charged with the fierce energy that propelled them to success in their beginnings.<\/p>\n Simple Plan<\/strong>, one of the most household names in mainstream pop-punk, are set to land on Slam Dunk soil in May 2019. \u00a0Returning from their mammoth world tour, in celebration of the 15th anniversary \u2018No Pads, No Helmets\u2026.Just Balls<\/em>\u2019, needless to say, their set will be filled with undeniable classics for fans old and new.<\/p>\n The Menzingers<\/strong>\u00a0are set to be a\u00a0fan-favourite over\u00a0the May bank holiday weekend. The punk rock unit will undoubtedly unite the Slam Dunk crowd in raucous rock singalongs with their latest release, \u2018After The Party<\/em>\u2019 and esteemed album \u2018Rented World<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n Comprised of Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman, formerly of Panic! Travelling from Missouri and New Jersey respectively, it\u2019s undeniable the impact these two seminal artists have had on their scene, are set to delight audiences and bands alike with classic melodies twinned with catchy trademark hooks.<\/p>\n Chris Conley of Saves The Day says;<\/strong> The only band from this announcement to have played\u00a0Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong>\u00a0before, Aussie punk troupe\u00a0Trophy Eyes<\/strong>\u00a0will be returning following their landmark performance in 2017. Having recently released their third album \u2018The American Dream<\/em>\u2019 to critical acclaim, Slam Dunk fans will no doubt be excited to witness the new material during only it\u2019s second airing in the UK.<\/p>\n Rounding off the blistering second-wave of acts, Slam Dunk is thrilled to welcome\u00a0Tiny Moving Parts t<\/strong>o the festival for the first time.
