The list features Logan and Jake Paul, PewDiePie, and Jeffree Star amongst others. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brand partnerships, sponsored ads and affiliate links are just some of the ways for content creators to make money. People who post on the platform <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/newsbeat\/article\/42395224\/evan-edinger-the-five-ways-youtubers-make-money\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">can earn millions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> each year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The highest earner for 2018 was YouTube star RyansToysReviews, who earned a massive \u00a317.2 million this year, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/natalierobehmed\/2018\/12\/03\/highest-paid-youtube-stars-2018-markiplier-jake-paul-pewdiepie-and-more\/#9bbf927909ac\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Forbes<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_28561\" style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28561\" class=\" wp-image-28561\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2018\/12\/Screen-Shot-2018-12-07-at-13.35.17.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"284\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-28561\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Picture: RyansToysReview YouTube channel<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With 17 million subscribers and videos that have been watched 25 billion times, the seven-year-old has beaten Jake Paul for the top spot by over \u00a3300,000. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ryan\u2019s videos see him reviewing and playing with toys \u2014 his most popular video, which has amassed 1.6 billion views, sees him running around an inflatable water slide gathering eggs filled with toys.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He even now has his own range of toys available in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.walmart.com\/browse\/ryans-world-toys\/c2hlbGZfaWQ6NjE5MzUie\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Walmart<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in the USA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BofPr22l9Z-\/<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It may be surprising that the highest-paid YouTube star of 2018 is a seven-year-old boy, with no females making the list. Last year the highest earning female of 2017 was Lilly Singh having made \u00a38.2 million \u2014 although she was only 10th on the entire list. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here are the top 10 YouTubers of 2018:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">10) <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCG8rbF3g2AMX70yOd8vqIZg\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Logan Paul<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: After filming an apparent suicide in a Japanese forest earlier in the year, the eldest Paul brother managed to make \u00a311.4 million this year.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">9) <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/PewDiePie\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PewDiePie<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Swedish gamer Felix Kjellberg, otherwise known PewDiePie, boasts 74 million subscribers and earned \u00a312.2 million in 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">8) <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/jacksepticeye\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jacksepticeye<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Ireland\u2019s biggest YouTuber Sean McLoughlin, aka Jacksepticeye, is known for his comedic commentary on gaming videos. He walked away with \u00a312.5 million this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">7) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/VanossGaming\">Vanoss Gaming<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Canadian YouTuber, Evan Fong, earned \u00a313.3 million for his gaming collaborations in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">6) <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/markiplierGAME\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Markiplier<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Another gaming commentator has made the list.
