Topping the bill are headliners <strong>Doves, The Specials, and You Me At Six<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Gunnersbury Park will be home to this new tented concert series alongside craft beers, local ales,<br \/>\nSummer wines and delectable Street food offerings. This debut event will bring an unrivalled music<br \/>\nprogramme and festival atmosphere, to make the Summer last just that little bit longer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doves<\/strong> headline the opening night of Gunnersville on <strong>Friday 6th September<\/strong> having made their<br \/>\ncelebrated return from a ten-year hiatus. Sparking memories of their two UK number one albums<br \/>\nand an array of critical success, including an impressive two Mercury Prize nominations in three<br \/>\nyears, the band has been welcomed back to the live music scene with arms wide open. With the<br \/>\neffusive response of fans and critics confirming Doves are once again at the peak of their powers,<br \/>\nthese Manchester legends are sure to bring their famously electric live performance to Gunnersville.<br \/>\nExpect an utterly absorbing and completely brilliant show, with anthems such as <em>\u201cBlack and White<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Town\u201d, \u201cThere Goes The Fear\u201d<\/em>, and <em>\u201cKingdom Of Rust\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Coming off the back of their 2019 critically acclaimed number one album \u2018Encore\u2019, British ska<br \/>\nlegends <strong>The Specials<\/strong> will make their headline appearance at the inaugural Gunnersville on <strong>Saturday<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>7th September<\/strong>. The Specials are without question one of the most electrifying, influential and<br \/>\nimportant bands of all time, and have recently celebrated the 40 th Anniversary since they formed<br \/>\nback in 1979 and the formation of the legendary 2 Tone label. Fans can expect to all of the band\u2019s<br \/>\nmemorable hits including <em>\u201cGangsters\u201d, \u201cA Message To You Rudy\u201d, \u201cGhost Town\u201d,<\/em> and <em>\u201cToo Much Too<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Young\u201d<\/em> as well as songs from their new hugely acclaimed album \u201cEncore\u201d. \u00a0Joining The Specials as<br \/>\nspecial guests on Saturday are one of the leading bands of the mid- \u201890s British rock scene, <strong>Ocean<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Colour Scene<\/strong>. With a back catalogue including 3x platinum album \u2018Moseley Shoals\u2019, 4 UK top 10<br \/>\nalbums and 6 UK top 10 singles, the rock &amp;amp; roll traditionalists with a psychedelia, soul and blues<br \/>\ninfluence are a part of the foundations of British music culture. <strong>General Roots<\/strong>, one of the most exciting reggae acts to come out of the UK in the last 10 years, and proto punk and psychedelic laden <strong>The Blinders<\/strong>, who\u00a0have become a force to be reckoned with in recent years, also join Saturday\u2019s line up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Specials<\/strong>: \u201cLooking forward to our late summer spectacular with close friends\u00a0Ocean Colour<br \/>\nScene. What a way to celebrate!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Sunday 8th September<\/strong>, <strong>You Me At Six<\/strong> close the weekend\u2019s events with their biggest headline<br \/>\nLondon show to date. Having gone from strength to strength since they first burst onto the scene,<br \/>\n2018 saw a UK top 10 album release in &#8216;VI&#8217;, and over 65,000 tickets sold in the UK. To mark thismonumental occasion the band will make musical history, treating fans to an exclusive set compiled<br \/>\nof each of their singles played in chronological order. With an incredible five top 10 UK albums, fans<br \/>\ncan expect hits including <em>&#8216;Save It For The Bedroom&#8217;<\/em>\u00a0to new favourite <em>&#8216;Back Again&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Josh Franceschi<\/strong>: \u201cWe wanted to celebrate a pretty mad 18 months for us as a band so when<br \/>\nGunnersville approached us to headline one of the days we knew straight away what we wanted to<br \/>\ndo. To celebrate the new era of YMA6 we are going to play all our singles in order. From \u2018Take Off Your Colours\u2019 to \u2018VI\u2019! It\u2019s gonna be a hell of a night and the line-up is amazing. We can\u2019t wait!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joining You Me At Six are four bands of epic proportions! <strong>Jimmy Eat World<\/strong> saw their landmark 1999<br \/>\nalbum \u2018Clarity\u2019 become a torch-bearer for their genre, while their 2001 album \u2018Bleed American\u2019<br \/>\ncontains monumental anthems including \u2018The Middle\u2019, \u2018Sweetness\u2019, and \u2018Hear You Me\u2019.<br \/>\nAlso performing on Sunday are <strong>Sundara Karma<\/strong>. Since bursting onto the scene in the mid-2010\u2019s, the<br \/>\nindie favourites have brought us a hit after hit. Their widespread critical success matches their status<br \/>\nas new indie heroes.
