So, here are some tips to keep up.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>What happened already? What\u2019s next?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a)The Commons have voted for a General Election to be held on December 12.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">b)The House of Lords will then debate the Early Parliamentary General Election Bill on the upcoming Wednesday, followed by the Queen\u2019s approval.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">SEE ALSO: <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/jeremy-corbyn-to-support-the-general-election\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jeremy Corbyn to support general election<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>What issues are voters most concerned with?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipsos.com\/en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ipsos<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a market research company, Brexit and the EU easily top the list of being the most important issues, followed by the NHS and law and order.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Immigration and economy concerns have been at their lowest rate since 2011 and 2007, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>What has changed since 2017\u2019s General Election?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Although the Conservative and Labour parties have been the most dominant parties for years, the Liberal Democrat party is slowly making its way through MP gains and support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">SEE ALSO: <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/liberal-democrats-ready-to-turn-london-yellow\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Liberal Democrats ready to turn London yellow<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>What steps should voters take now?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before getting too excited about heading down to the polls in December, eligible voters should first <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/register-to-vote\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">register to vote<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> before the set deadline of the 26th of November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As a student, you\u2019re allowed to register at your term-time address if you still haven\u2019t finished your university semester, given that it\u2019s located in a different constituency than your home address.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Any last reminders?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Don\u2019t forget to bring your umbrella to your local polling station, and turn your phone off.
