A few reasons\u2026\ud83e\uddf5<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 jack \ud83c\udf0d\ud83c\udf0f\ud83c\udf0e (@jack) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jack\/status\/1189634360472829952?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 30, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jack Dorsey, co-founder and CEO of Twitter, made an announcement, saying, he would ban any political ads on Twitter from here onwards. &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While internet advertising is incredibly powerful and very effective for commercial advertisers, that power brings significant \u2018risks to politics\u2019, where it can be used to influence votes to affect the lives of millions,\u201d Dorsey added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Counteracting to what Mark Zukerberg said previously &#8211; \u201cWe\u2019re working hard to stop people from gaming our systems to spread misleading info, but if someone pays us to target and force people to see their political ad\u2026well&#8230;they can say whatever they want! \u201c &#8211; Dorsey further clarified his will not to advertise any form of political agendas on Twitter, reassuring the users being fairly-treated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/bye-bye-birdie-twitter-stock-takes-a-drastic-decline-on-the-london-stock-exchange-following-a-volatile-year-which-may-lead-to-big-advertising-changes-on-the-platform\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bye -bye birdie? Twitter\u2019s stock price has been declining since a drastic drop on 25 October. Unlike the rising concern about Twitter turning its interest to the advertisers and commercialising more, Dorsey insisted on prioritising ethics. \u201cBest to focus our efforts on the root problems, without the additional burden and complexity taking money brings. Trying to fix both means fixing neither well, and harms our credibility.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Amid a volatile change in general election date and the Brexit, Twitter is expected to act its role as a platform that shares fair information.
