London Ambulance and police officers were also dispatched.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of a bus, thought to be a 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics treated 15 people at The Avenue at the junction of Park Avenue and Sevenoaks Road where the accident took place.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the car, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, the Met said.<\/p>\n<p>Road closures are in place around the area and police have asked motorists to use alternate routes.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives are investigating and appealing for witnesses.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information should call 020 8285 1574<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\"><strong>Words: Michelle Del Rey | Images: David Preston\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One person has died and 15 have been injured following a crash involving two buses in south-east London.
