No one can be 100% perfect.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This year the UK overtook Germany as the country with the largest amount of vegan products launched, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mintel.com\/press-centre\/food-and-drink\/veganuary-uk-overtakes-germany-as-worlds-leader-for-vegan-food-launches\">market research<\/a> by Mintel. These include the notable sausage roll from Greggs and Ben and Jerry\u2019s new vegan flavours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The interest in a plant-based and cruelty-free lifestyle spans outside of the food sector and into fashion, cosmetics, and cleaning products. In her comedy quiz show, BBC\u2019s Sandi Toksvig claimed several fruits and vegetables including avocados, almonds and kiwis were, in fact, not vegan.
