{"id":33926,"date":"2019-11-24T12:42:20","date_gmt":"2019-11-24T12:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/?p=33926"},"modified":"2019-11-24T12:42:20","modified_gmt":"2019-11-24T12:42:20","slug":"tories-to-release-manifesto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/tories-to-release-manifesto\/","title":{"rendered":"Tories launch manifesto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Boris Johnson told the crowd in Telford during the launch of their 59-page manifesto the he will \u201cGet Brexit done\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in the West Midlands, Boris Johnson plans to reintroduce the Withdrawal Agreement Bill before Christmas, if elected back into office.<\/p>\n<p>Entitled &#8216;Get Brexit Done, Unleash Britain\u2019s Potential&#8217;, the manifesto also pledges a \u201cTriple Tax Cut\u201d, meaning there will be no rise in income tax, national insurance and VAT under a Conservative government.<\/p>\n<p>The Tories promise to implement a \u00a31bn boost to increase after school and holiday childcare to give &#8220;parents more flexibility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still promising the \u201cbiggest cash boost in its history\u201d to the NHS \u2013 \u00a333.9bn by 2024, the Conservative Party are committed to stopping \u201cunfair hospital car parking charges\u201d, affecting NHS staff and some patients and their families.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This is what we\u2019re pledging to do for YOU <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ConservativeManifesto?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ConservativeManifesto<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/tzXL2v2TLs\">pic.twitter.com\/tzXL2v2TLs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash;
