{"id":33959,"date":"2019-11-24T20:05:38","date_gmt":"2019-11-24T20:05:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/?p=33959"},"modified":"2019-11-24T20:05:38","modified_gmt":"2019-11-24T20:05:38","slug":"pictures-whats-on-the-crepe-city-sneaker-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/pictures-whats-on-the-crepe-city-sneaker-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Pictures: What happened in the Crepe City Sneaker Festival?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hundreds of sneakerheads\u00a0(sneaker lovers) from different areas gathered in Boxpark Wembley, to celebrate the Crepe City Sneaker Festival with shopping, eating, drinking and gaming, started from 11 am to 5 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The crowd queued up before the opening time to wait for a first look at what they could have in the venue.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33962\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2019\/11\/1-3-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>People lining up for the festival<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s more fun than business.\u201d one of the sellers told us at the beginning of the festival.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate its 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, it also invited famous DJs to present live performances all day, along with a special guest debate on whether should support hypebeast\u00a0culture (a phenomenon that people who wear cool and trendy brands to impress others) or not.<\/p>\n<p>Various brands of trainers can be seen on the stalls, apart from trendy collaboration brands like Off-White, attendees also could find those exclusive and sold-out trainers from years ago.
