{"id":34815,"date":"2019-11-29T19:00:30","date_gmt":"2019-11-29T19:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/?p=34815"},"modified":"2019-11-29T19:00:30","modified_gmt":"2019-11-29T19:00:30","slug":"black-friday-deals-be-aware-of-the-real-discounts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/black-friday-deals-be-aware-of-the-real-discounts\/","title":{"rendered":"Black Friday deals: be aware of the real discounts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Shoppers are called to pay attention to the deals on Black Friday due to recent research by Which? that exposed the truth behind discounted items.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Research conducted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.which.co.uk\/reviews\/black-friday\/article\/black-friday-deals\/black-friday-deals-how-to-check-if-a-black-friday-deal-is-real\">Which?<\/a> analysed 83 items on offer on last year&#8217;s Black Friday, tracking down the prices six months before and six months after.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Editor\u2019s Picks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/london-bridge-shut-down-after-gunfire\/\">London Bridge shut down &#8220;after gunfire&#8221;\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/the-brothers-of-grime\/\">The Brothers of Grime<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/greta-thunberg-whats-the-big-deal\/\">Greta Thunberg \u2013 the 16-year-old activist, now author of the year<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/how-historically-accurate-is-the-crown\/\">How historically accurate is The Crown?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Which? found out that 95% of the items investigated were still on sale for the same price or cheaper six months after Black Friday.
