The Chicago-born rapper Juice WRLD has died at age 21, Illinois\u2019 Cook County medical examiner\u2019s office has confirmed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The rapper was pronounced dead at 3:15 am on Sunday morning a<\/span>fter having suffered a seizure shortly after landing at Chicago Midway International Airport.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Juice WRLD, whose birth name is Jarad Anthony Higgins, landed at the airport on Sunday morning local time, when he suffered a seizure and was rushed to a nearby hospital. According to <\/span>ABC News<\/span><\/i>, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The cause of the seizure is not yet known.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 21 year-old rapper was best-known for his viral 2018 hit <\/span>Lucid Dreams<\/span><\/i>. Topics like mental health, mortality and drug use were common themes in his music.<\/span><\/p>\n

Juice celebrated his 21st birthday on 2 December 2019, and was prepping for the release of his third album. Many have jumped on social media to pay homage to the talented rapper.<\/span><\/p>\n
