Labour are predicted to lose 71 seats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conservaties:<\/strong> 368<\/p>\n<p><strong>Labour:<\/strong> 191<\/p>\n<p><strong>SNP:\u00a0<\/strong>55<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liberal Democrats:\u00a0<\/strong>13<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plaid Cymru:<\/strong> 3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Greens:<\/strong> 1<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brexit Party:<\/strong> 0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Others:<\/strong> 22<\/p>\n<p>Shadow chancellor and Labour figure, John McDonnell has said that the results have come &#8216;&#8221;as a shock&#8221; adding that he &#8220;thought it [the results] would be closer&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Other Labour candidates have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment with the exit poll results:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Disappointing Exit Poll. The predictions gathered for the exit poll are based on voters leaving polling station who are asked to fill out a mock ballot paper with the party they voted for.
