Lucid, the provider of this year\u2019s show of lights has prepared a new and exciting theme to bring to families and residents of the Brent neighbourhood.<\/p>\n<p>This was after <a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/winterfest-2019-walk-through\/\">last year\u2019s successful launch\u00a0<\/a>of the free immersive light festival walk-through, which presented Europe\u2019s first installation of the Sonic Runway, the Illumaphonium, as well as London\u2019s tallest LED Christmas tree with a height of 25 metres.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Winterfest 2019 walk-through\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mE3AYevcSjY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The light festival will commence on Thursday 26 November 2020, and run daily from 12pm till 10pm until Sunday 17 January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the new restrictions under Tier 2 lockdown, this year\u2019s theme known as <em>\u2018United in Light\u2019<\/em> aims at submerging the community in hope for a positive future which they can enjoy on world-famous Olympic Way. Friends and family will be able to experience a series of uplifting moments and celebrate together during a time when it\u2019s needed the most.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of the fact that Christmas markets including Winter Wonderland are cancelled for this year, Winterfest is looking forward to cheering people up with its interactive installations.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve this, a brand-new site-specific light installation named <em>\u2018Reflections of the Future\u2019&#8217;<\/em>\u00a0has been specially\u00a0commissioned.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Reflections of the Future&#8217;<\/em> will present a 100-metre-long lighted corridor which will create a \u201cunique environment to have optimistic thoughts about the future as they are surrounded by their own reflections, light and sound\u201d, according to its provider.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a series of mirrored LED posts which will be placed at an angle to allow guests to see multiple, distorted versions of themselves and others, creating a strong sense of closeness, even for those visiting on their own.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_37411\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37411\" class=\"size-large wp-image-37411\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2020\/10\/Wembley-Park-\u2013-Winterfest-2020-\u2013-Lights-Festival-Image-1024x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"640\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-37411\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Corridor of mirrored LED posts which will appear in this year&#8217;s theme of Wembley&#8217;s Winterfest (Image provided by\u00a0<em>Four Communications)<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p>Along with this theme, the neighbourhood will also witness the return of the tallest 100,000 LED light Christmas tree ever built in London, which was immensely popular in last year\u2019s Winterfest.<\/p>\n<p>Though more exciting yet, the tree will be adorned with a new digital art commission \u2013 sounds like it\u2019s worth visiting!<\/p>\n<p>The giant Christmas tree will be found outside London Designer Outlet.
