On Saturday, hours before the Prime Minister\u2019s announcement, around two hundred people gathered at Crystal Palace Overground station. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Protesters united to express their discontent and disapproval about the measures in place to slow the spread of the noble Corona virus and to disseminate that in South London<\/p>\n<p>Voice of London was on scene and asked the mask-less attendees their reason for opposing the actions taken by governments across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Ronnie McCoy, a satellite antenna constructor and one of the organisers, yelled at passengers exiting the station. Using his megaphone, he urged mask-wearing people to \u201cwake up, don\u2019t fall for the scam\u201d.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_38464\" style=\"width: 3034px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38464\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38464\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2020\/11\/IMG-3316-e1604237869251.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-38464\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo by Norbert Tarnoczi | Police carrying out risk assessment and remind people to observe social distancing<\/p><\/div>\n<p>He told <a href=\"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/\">Voice of London<\/a> that \u201ceveryone who does their proper research on the matter, will realise that this whole pandemic is created to impose control on people\u201d. Mr McCoy believes that job losses caused by the pandemic are \u201cpart of the plan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause then those people will be forced to live on government subsidies and benefits. But to get that they will need to sign a contract that makes anti-Covid-19 vaccination treatment mandatory for its participants\u201d, he continued.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_38465\" style=\"width: 3034px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38465\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38465\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2020\/11\/IMG-3321-e1604237987168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-38465\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo by Norbert Tarnoczi<\/p><\/div>\n<p>No such official contract is known to exist, and according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), there are at least <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/publications\/m\/item\/draft-landscape-of-covid-19-candidate-vaccines\">170 vaccine developers<\/a> working on getting a safe vaccine ready as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Bingham, who leads the UK\u2019s vaccine taskforce, told The Guardian that a vaccine is the best hope to halt the health and economic havoc wreaked at the world. She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2020\/oct\/30\/its-possible-the-race-to-approve-a-covid-vaccine-by-christmas\">claimed<\/a> \u201cthe UK is in a very good place\u201d in terms of a Covid vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>John, who strongly opposes mask-wearing, said that \u201clockdowns are not justified\u201d. Although he believes the virus exists, but it is \u201cnearly not as dangerous as the government says so\u201d. He argues that the Labour party wouldn\u2019t do better either, \u201coverthrowing the government and taking control is our only hope\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>When asked whether he is here to support the movement or to take pictures, Jamie, a young photographer said &#8220;a little bit of both&#8221;. He says many deaths are being counted as Covid-related deaths within 28 days of a positive test \u201ceven if an aeroplane hits the person after being tested positive\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.publishing.service.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/916035\/RA_Technical_Summary_-_PHE_Data_Series_COVID_19_Deaths_20200812.pdf\">criteria<\/a> for a Covid-19 death is indeed a \u201claboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test and died within (equal to or less than) 28 days of the first positive specimen date\u201d, according to Public Health England.
