I&#8217;ve compiled a list of little things you can do to help out.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Start a<span style=\"color: #000080\"> <a style=\"color: #000080\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ageuk.org.uk\/services\/befriending-services\/sign-up-for-telephone-befriending\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">t<span style=\"color: #333399\">elephone friendship<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #333399\">!<\/span> Loneliness affects us all, and there are many people out there who would love to have a chat with someone, especially elderly people who haven&#8217;t been able to take visitors due to Covid.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Donate. Whatever you can &#8211; to your local charity shop or an organisation of your choice. Maybe even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blood.co.uk\/the-donation-process\/giving-blood-for-the-first-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #333399\">donate<\/span> blood<\/a> if you&#8217;re feeling very charitable.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Think about something special you can do for someone who can&#8217;t celebrate their birthday right now. Put all the ingredients for a cake in a box and put some confetti in there. Sending them a care package &#8211; or even just a card &#8211; will make their day!\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go grocery shopping for others who might not be able to go themselves for health related reasons.
