{"id":39675,"date":"2020-11-15T13:20:03","date_gmt":"2020-11-15T13:20:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thevoiceoflondon.co.uk\/?p=39675"},"modified":"2020-11-15T13:20:03","modified_gmt":"2020-11-15T13:20:03","slug":"30-person-fight-breaks-out-in-west-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/thevoiceoflondon\/30-person-fight-breaks-out-in-west-london\/","title":{"rendered":"30-person fight breaks out in West London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In late hours of the evening (Saturday 14th November) Metropolitan Police Officers received numerous calls from worrying neighbours concerned about a fight taking place.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The fight broke out on the Dalgarno Estate on Sutton Way, in Kensington and Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Metropolitan police; the 30 young males were all armed with knives, weapons and baseball bats.<\/p>\n<p>They were fighting and even caused damaged to a vehicle nearby.<\/p>\n<p>Police announced the fight via social media around 6:30 am, however the time of the actual fight took place around 10:15pm the previous evening.<\/p>\n<p>A total of seven arrests were made, all aged between 15 and 18.<\/p>\n<p>This was for numerous reasons; including drugs, offensive weapons, violent behaviour, possession with intent to supply and criminal damage.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Numerous calls to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Dalgarno?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Dalgarno<\/a> Estate on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MPSKenChel?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MPSKenChel<\/a> &#8211; 30 young males with knives\/weapons, fighting + causing damage to vehicle. 7 arrests by TSG U53 for Drugs Supply, Off Wep + Violent Disorder. A life saved tonight ^5268U <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Q03MBqFdUF\">pic.twitter.com\/Q03MBqFdUF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Met Police Taskforce (@MetTaskforce) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MetTaskforce\/status\/1327860397681020931?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 15, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Police have confirmed the injury of a 15-year-old boy who was treated by medics at the scene before being taken to hospital.<\/p>\n<p>It is said he was only suffering with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Around 1:00 am the previous morning, the police advised the public that a Section 60 was being placed in the area.<\/p>\n<p>This allowed the police to have greater power to stop and search.<\/p>\n<p>This order was put into place as the Met Police had already dealt with two other felonies within the area since Friday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Friday, 13th November, a stabbing took place on Blantyre Street in Chelsea at around 6 o\u2019clock in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>A 17-year old boy was rushed into hospital, however his injuries were not life-threatening.<\/p>\n<p>Around a similar time, the police were called to Hammersmith and Fulham area as a 14-year old boy had been stabbed.<\/p>\n<p>Both incidents were less than a mile apart.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Words by: Grace Staley | Subbing: Gabriela Jimenez<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In late hours of the evening (Saturday 14th November) Metropolitan Police Officers received numerous calls from worrying neighbours concerned about a fight taking place.
