Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team (@MercedesAMGF1) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MercedesAMGF1\/status\/1333672817460654080?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 1, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to The Evening Standard, Lewis now the third driver to test positive this season, alongside Sergio Perez at the British Grand Prix and Lance Stroll in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The seven-time world champion will continue to isolate in Bahrain until a neagtive result is produced.<\/p>\n<p>It is hoped that he will be fit and well to return for the final race of the season, the Abu Dhabi Gran Prix, set to take place December 13.<\/p>\n<p>In the team&#8217;s statement they said the Briton is currently suffering with mild symptoms, however overall feels fit and well.<\/p>\n<p>Mercedes have announced George Russel will replace Lewis in the upcoming race.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Nobody can replace this guy, but I&#39;ll give my all for the team in his absence from the moment I step in the car.<\/p>\n<p>Get well soon Lewis \ud83d\ude4f <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2fKTmbmaU0\">pic.twitter.com\/2fKTmbmaU0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash;
