Surely, 2021 looks more promising than the hellish year behind us, with a long-awaited end to the pandemic and a sense of normality returning to our lives. The year will start the same as the past 6 years; with <a href=\"https:\/\/veganuary.com\">Veganuary<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The non-profit organisation has just launched their 2021 campaign urging people to try eating plant-based more than ever.<\/p>\n<p>Veganuary was founded in 2014 by husband and wife, Matthew Glover and Jane Land.\u00a0The idea is simply to inspire people from all around the world to try going vegan for a month.<\/p>\n<p>When signing up, people get access to a free e-book with plenty of nutritious plant-based recipes and tips about veganism.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Veganuary2021?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Veganuary2021<\/a> is LIVE! Traditionally meat-oriented fast-food restaurants, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kfc.co.uk\/menu\/vegan\">KFC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pizzahut.co.uk\/restaurants\/food\/vegan-menu\/\">Pizza Hut<\/a> were among the 600 businesses participating last year.<\/p>\n<p>This year, McDonald&#8217;s has already announced their newest addition to their plant-based range, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/business-54883140\">McPlant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The movement has had a strong support from celebrities since the beginning. The no-kill version of chicken meat is a pioneering innovation in the industry that could reshape the way we think about veganism.<\/p>\n<p>Harry Potter actor, Evanna Lynch, talks about her own experience with veganism in this year&#8217;s press release.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 11\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019ve loved Veganuary\u2019s work for a long time because I know, having been a vegetarian who was intimidated by veganism, that so many people just won\u2019t start because they think it\u2019s too hard and that they\u2019re going to fail.
