This compares with 1,478 patients on 25 November 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Test and Trace data show that the daily number of new people tested positive for the virus in London was reported as 2,081 with 168,285 total cases reported on 3 December 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Sadiq Khan told LBC yesterday: &#8220;If we are not careful we could see the virus surging again and us as a city going into Tier 3 or there being [another] national lockdown.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Words: Mohammed Salem | Subbing: Sam Tabahriti<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although there is a drop in the Covid-19 positive cases in the UK, sadly in London cases are remaining high with ten per cent of East Londoners testing positive.
