Sam is a Marketing Communications BA student in his final year and Jessica is a Marketing Communications MA student. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-54459e7 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"54459e7\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-8c907cd\" data-id=\"8c907cd\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-190ec18 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"190ec18\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Tidy space, tidy mind<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-75938f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"75938f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Having a dedicated workspace (and a tidy one) is really important.\u00a0 It&#8217;s key to work somewhere that allows you to be productive, having a clean desk or workstation will reduce stress and increase your focus.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you\u2019re a visual learner try using post-it notes to jot down ideas as they come and stick them up somewhere you can see. This way you won&#8217;t forget any important bits of information, and it definitely helps when it comes to revision season.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you\u2019re not a pen and paper sort of person, you might want to use OneNote or Google Drive which will allow you to collate all your notes in one place. This might also help keep your workspace tidy as all your notes will be digital rather than physical.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e07c366 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"e07c366\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-0478bb2\" data-id=\"0478bb2\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-28582d9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"28582d9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Structure your day<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4e875f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4e875f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When studying from home it can be easy to lose some of the structure that you get from your usual timetable. We\u2019d recommend splitting your day into 90 minutes or 2 hour blocks. By structuring your day like this you\u2019re more likely to stay on task and motivated because you know by the end of that 90 minutes you\u2019ll be due a well earned break.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One thing we would say from personal experience is that it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by all the topics you need to study, so it\u2019s important to make time for things other than just work. Take a short walk outside and get some fresh air, read a few pages from a book, or catch up on your favourite TV series!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-483f4df elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"483f4df\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-572c48a\" data-id=\"572c48a\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3c46144 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3c46144\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Stay active<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-50d02b9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"50d02b9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As much as we enjoy catching up with films and TV series, we still try to do some form of exercise during the day. Exercise is a really important part of staying focused. Without it, you\u2019ll find yourself fidgeting and getting distracted. Try using your breaks to do some form of physical activity. I like to go for a walk or do a short yoga session from YouTube.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you can, try to schedule your activity or exercise earlier in the day. In addition to improving your focus, it is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/exercise-fitness\/working-out-in-the-morning#benefits\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that morning exercise improves attention and visual learning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-862d86e elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"862d86e\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-b75618c\" data-id=\"b75618c\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0e315a7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0e315a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Keep in touch with peers and academics<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae42942 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ae42942\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you need help and support, talk to your peers and your academic lecturers. Regular contact through Facetime, Email, Skype or Whatsapp are great ways to keep in touch with peers. If you get stuck or need help, always reach out. There\u2019s always an open line of communication!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-da50978 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"da50978\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-cd63537\" data-id=\"cd63537\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-adab637 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"adab637\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Wellbeing and mental health<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d974bee elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d974bee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your mental health and wellbeing is just as important as your physical health. Regular breaks and staying active can help but there are also ways to support your wellbeing online and through apps. We\u2019d recommend Calm and Headspace, but there are plenty of other options.
