Have you ever wanted to see sustainability initiatives in another country? When I saw that University of Westminster was giving students the opportunity to go to another country to have a better understanding of the sustainability initiatives, I was so excited. I deeply care about sustainability initiatives and love to see what other countries are doing to be more sustainable.\u00a0<\/h6>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Day 1:
<\/b>\u00a0
<\/b>On day one of the trip I arrived at the airport bright and early awaiting the full day of activities ahead. I met all the other classmates and talked to the teachers about the day ahead. It was then when I got to know who I would be rooming with. The plane ride was nice and easy as I just talked to my roommates and got to know them. Once we arrived in Stockholm we set our stuff down and got refreshed for the activities later on.\u00a0
We then went to dinner with the girls that came on the trip and just talked and got to know everyone.\u00a0
That night we explored the city and Beverly took us on a tour of everything, as she goes to Stockholm often, she knew where she was going and gave us some suggestions for when we had free time.\u00a0<\/h6>

Day 2:
<\/b>Day 2 we started bright and early. We had a slow fashion tour which I loved because I like to buy second hand. On this tour we met an owner of one of the second hand stores. She informed us that the whole street is second hand stores. This is also where I bought gifts for my friends and family. I made sure to take a few coffee breaks today too!\u00a0
After the slow fashion tour we went on a walk to a view point. It was super pretty! After the viewpoint we made our way to our lunch spot for the day. We had a traditional Swedish meal. It was delicious!

After lunch we went down to the old town to walk around and check out the traditional area of Stockholm. This is also where the nobel prize museum is which we got to tour! I think this may have been my favorite activity of the trip! I have always wanted to go to the Nobel prize museum and I learned so much about the process and how it works.\u00a0
After the Nobel prize museum we had a ghost tour. This I can say was not my favorite as I am not super into scary things however we did learn a lot. Because the tour was based on the murders and things, we got a different perspective of Stockholm.<\/h6>

Day 3:

<\/b>For our last full day we had a bike tour, open air museum, and some fun free time!
We started the morning with a bike tour. This tour gave us a better understanding of the history and made us feel like a local as most people here bike. It was super cool to see more of the city!
After the bike tour we went to the open air museum. This museum is a museum that prioritises nature. It was part zoo part history which is super cool and not something I had ever experienced before.\u00a0
After the open air museum a few friends and I went to the ABBA museum as it was super close to the open air museum. I am a huge ABBA and Mamma Mia fan, so I loved it! I even met the costume designer for ABBA!\u00a0
After the ABBA museum we made our way back to the hostel and had dinner. After dinner a friend and I went to a really cool vikings themed restaurant. It was super cool to engage in Viking culture.\u00a0<\/h6>

Day 4:\u00a0<\/b><\/h6>\n
On our last day we had a boat cruise. The tour was a couple hours, and showed us a lot of the islands, and what they were used for. The tour was very informative and relaxing (I love boats). After the cruise we went to pick up our stuff from the hostel and headed toward the airport.\u00a0<\/h6>\n
Overall the trip was super informative and fun. It was great to connect with other students that shared my love for sustainability. It was also fun to get to know the teachers outside of the classroom.<\/h6>\n
