The Careers and Employability Service team would like to wish all students, colleagues and business partners a restful and joyful festive break.
Although we will be away from the 24th of December until the 4th of January, there is some exciting content coming up on Careers’ social media channels.
Throughout the entire month, we will be focusing on careers, wellbeing and festivities. There will be weekly themes:
- Week 1 (06/12 – 12/12) – job, resource and event spotlights;
- Week 2 (13/12 – 19/12) – wellbeing week including information on the university’s and our Student Union’s various wellbeing services, advice on tackling loneliness during the holiday season and more;
- Week 3 (20/12 – 26/12) – festive job spotlights and some festive things-to-do in the city as suggested by the CES team;
- Week 4 (27/12 – 02/01) – a focus on self-reflection and goal setting, as well as New Year’s resolutions.
There are many wonderful things to be shared throughout December (most likely including a CES Christmas competition!), so please stay tuned and connect with us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram if you’ve not done so already.
