University of Westminster Learning and Teaching Awards for Students
Do you know a student who is making a positive contribution to learning and teaching or enriching the student experience at Westminster?
This year we are introducing awards for student involvement in learning and teaching or student experience and we want to hear about the contributions students are making at Westminster.
For 2017/2018 there is one award available per Faculty of £500. The awards recognise students who have positively helped the university community in the areas of learning and teaching and/or student experience. For example, the contributions might be around making change to specific learning and teaching practices or policies at the local or institutional level; encouraging the engagement of other students; enhancing the learning opportunities of peers; or promoting diversity and equality.
Nomination process:
Nominations for the awards are now open and will close on Friday February 8th at 5pm, with the winners announced in March. Award winners will be honoured at the Student Union Appreciation Awards in March as well as at the Annual Learning and Teaching Celebration Event in May.
Eligibility:
Award nominees can be studying at any level with the exception of Postgraduate Research (PhD). Nominations can be made by a course, Department/Cluster, Faculty, a member of staff or a fellow student.
Nominations must be submitted online by Friday 8th February at 5pm at: https://westminster.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/nomination-form.
