Westminster Learning Communities will be a vibrant and dynamic means to foster innovation in learning and teaching using a bottom-up, collaborative, reflective and scholarly approach, and will support the University Learning and Teaching Strategy 2015-2020. They will provide opportunities for enhancing and sharing practice, exchanging resources, expertise and experience and for developing and promoting new ideas and innovation that will enhance the student experience, and will facilitate critical reflection, scholarship and pedagogic research.
Anyone from the University can start a Learning Community or be involved with one, whether you are a member of academic staff, or in a corporate services team, and topics should be aligned with at least one of the principles set out in the University Learning and Teaching Strategy 2015-2020.
For more information about how to start a community, and what’s involved, visit the Starting a Community page.
