Early Preview of Enact

First Look at the Enact Practice Research Repository at Apereo Foundation Microconference  

Members of the Enact team will present an early preview of the Enact Practice Research Repository at the Apereo Foundation Microconference on Wednesday 16 September. 

This session presents the project and its conceptual foundations, including the PR Voices metadata schema, a project-centred data model that captures process and context alongside outputs, and the Pathfinders programme, which positions practice researchers and repository experts as key partners in the co-design process.  

The session will outline the development of Enact on the open-source Samvera Hyku platform, share insights gained through collaboration across three organisations and an international user community, and consider how other institutions may engage with and benefit from the initiative. 

Speaking are: Enact Project Lead Jenny Evans; Rory McNicholl, Team Lead Digital Research at technology partner CoSector; Nick Steinwachs, President of digital repository developer Notch8; and Enact Repository Manager Dr Adam Vials Moore.  

There will be time for questions at the end.
