What to do about students referred or deferred in modules no longer running

If students need to take a module that is no longer running then they can use last year’s Blackboard site for the module i.e. the 2015 site. See this guide for using last year’s site and setting up an area for referred or deferred students or for students having to re-take the module.

Personal Tutoring Dashboard

In Blackboard you can now access the new Personal Tutor’s dashboard via a tab called ‘Personal Tutoring’ at the top of any Blackboard page. This ‘version 1’ dashboard makes it a little easier for personal tutors to find out key information about their tutees and provides access to tutor notes which can be used to record notes from meetings with tutees.

SensusAccess is a self-service cloud-based system and allows students to convert a range of file types to what may be more accessible formats (for example word or pdf to mp3).
