This report shows that tackling the global climate crisis would reap significant economic benefits for major economies and poor nations alike. The report was commissioned by 20 governments and authored by DARA, an humanitarian and development research organisation, and Climate Vulnerable Forum, an international cooperation group for coordination, advocacy and knowledge-building. The study incorporates significantly updated and revised estimates of losses linked to climate change and presents a sobering picture. The findings point to unprecedented harm to human society and current economic development that will increasingly restrain future growth.
