Housing and support play a major role in meeting health objectives and tackling health inequalities, and it is crucial that housing and support feature in the new health system. The new Health and Social Care Act gives more responsibility for commissioning to clinicians and supports local authorities to take on new roles to improve public health. This event provided an opportunity to follow the latest twists and turns in the health, care and support agendas and gain an understanding of these far-reaching changes, both nationally and locally, including the best way to engage with the Health and Wellbeing boards and the Clinical Commissioning Groups and find a route through this challenging period of transformation.
