Shot between 2007 and 2012 on and around the Olympic Park and in colleges of construction, the film makers explore the impact of this big public project and ask whether there will be a legacy for construction workers. The DVD also includes four short films by new film makers: The Artist and the plumber: a portrait of a young woman sculptor who earns her living as a plumber; Cricklewood Craic: Impressions of a community of Irish construction workers in North London; The Carpenter: A day in the life of a worker who came to the UK from Eastern Europe; Pudding Mill Lane: People arrive for work at the Stratford Olympic Park. The DVD costs £7 for individuals and £22 for institutions.
