Nearer to Zero: Planning for zero carbon homes from 2016

How can planners and the house building industry work more closely together to ensure the carbon emissions from energy use in new housing is nearer to the zero carbon target? The Zero Carbon Hub and the Home Builders Federation are working together on a series of events focusing on this question. Nearer to Zero has been organization a series of conferences to enable delegates to highlight their concerns about the technical and financial challenges of delivering zero carbon housing, the need for more clearly defined standards and more joined- up regulatory regimes and the impacts of planning reform. Presentations from past events are available online, together with details of forthcoming events.
