In this guide, academic and professional knowledge regarding the joint application of Lean and BIM has been compiled for the first time. The information is based on up-to-date experiences and knowledge regarding the topic, gained by pioneering organisations in different countries. The guide contains a clear description on the links between Lean and BIM, and how these can be marshalled to provide a range of benefits in an incremental manner. It provides specific advice for different parties of a construction project and for different project stages, as well as references to the wider literature.
