Closed for lunch 12pm - 1pm each day

Closed all day Saturday and Sunday and bank holidays

Build local: Practical ways to build more homes and thriving communities

PlaceShapers, an alliance of over 100 housing associations, has published a report which provides 12 examples from across the country where housing associations have successfully built high-quality homes in local communities. It also suggests how more homes could be built based on interviews with people in the sector. These included: more certainty for providers on the future of social rents and capital funding; the release of more publicly owned land; sensible and strategic release of green belt land; and changing the gearing limits.
