The purpose of the fact file (produced annually) is to gather together in one volume data on important trends related to domestic energy use, and in particular on the measures that have been taken to improve energy efficiency. Most of the tables relate to total housing stock and will be mainly of use to government departments and others interested in research or planning at that level. The reports cover the period from 1970 (just before the first oil crisis) until 2011.

This research from Savills looked at the disparity between house prices in each of the regions of England and Wales and the reasons why those disparities exist having regard to: the size and type of housing; the basis upon which that housing is occupied; and the characteristics of the occupiers of that housing.
London Councils Poll

The results of polling, on London Councils’ website, shows that housing is the number one issue for Londoners. Ipsos MORI polled a total of 1,000 adults aged 18+ across London’s boroughs by telephone between 18 and 29 October 2013 on behalf of London Councils.

This handbook, published in 2012, aims to serve as a guide for use by municipal leaders in future public space projects laying out 10 best practices for public space projects. These 10 facets of the Placemaking approach illustrate the process that Project for Public Spaces (PPS) and UN-Habitat have undertaken together, and demonstrate the effectiveness of such global partnerships in sustainable urban development through networks such as SUD-Net. UN-Habitat has been developing a vision for public space. PPS has taken this vision as a starting point and has expanded it to incorporate case study narratives describing the impact of the Placemaking process in nearly a dozen cities throughout the Global South.
