CBRE’s latest residential research examines the rental prospects in 25 established rental markets across England and Wales, picking out some of the key hotspots. The number of rental households has increased by one million over the past five years, to 3.9 million, creating increased demand for properties to rent. The report looks at the towns and cities that are likely to experience the greatest rental growth.

The economic benefits of natural assets need to be incorporated into planning decision making, according to a report from government advisory body the Natural Capital Committee. The Natural Capital Committee was set up as a result of the Government’s 2011 Natural Environment White Paper, The Natural Choice, with a clear remit to identify which natural assets may be being used unsustainably, to ensure the development of national and corporate natural capital accounting, and to advise on research priorities.

This website will be of particular interest to innovative Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), enabling easy access to information about current research projects and outcomes of past projects; it will however also be of interest to other users, such as academic institutions and the general public.
