This event was designed to provoke debate in 4 key areas: BIM, Technical, Business and Practice, and Design. Presentations are available online.
BIM explores how BIM supports collaboration to save time and cost, the value of capturing and sharing information to reduce cost and risk. Other topics include the UK Government BIM strategy, using information and knowledge as competitive advantage, adopting BIM for practice knowledge capture, and the impact of the UK BIM and construction strategy.
Technical navigates the maze of current and predicted legislation, regulations & policy and explores how to keep ahead in an industry in a state of transition. How technical information is best captured, communicated, implemented and shared is explored as well as innovative new technologies that could have a significant impact on the industry.
Business and Practice offers valuable insights and pragmatic advice on winning and retaining contracts, both locally and internationally. Learn how to raise the profile of your business, increase market share and ensure your portfolio gets the recognition it deserves.
Design explores the opportunities and challenges facing the growth areas of green infrastructure, place-making and housing, and asks how we can produce designs that are fit for purpose and can withstand the rigours of value engineering and the construction process.
