Delivering energy efficiency in London

Future of London is an independent not for profit organisation focused on developing skills and capacity across the urban regeneration sector in London, through the provision of training, policy briefings and new analysis. It has published a report, supported by EDF Energy, which warns that London faces a big challenge to make the most of the Government’s new approach to improving energy efficiency through the Green Deal and ECO programmes. The report also emphasises the critical role London boroughs will play in delivering the forthcoming Green Deal, and recommends that they play an active role in supporting the scheme. It also outlines ways in which boroughs could encourage consumer demand for the Green Deal.
