This report from the World Green Building Council investigates the business costs and benefits of green building in five vital categories and finishes with an exploration into the both the impacts that a greener built environment can have at a macro scale and how this can be achieved. The study argues that the cost premium on the development of green buildings is not as high as has often been perceived by the industry, that green buildings are capable of commanding higher rents and sale prices than traditionally constructed buildings, and that green buildings improve workplace productivity and health.
