This conference was aimed at anyone involved in the outdoor economy, including activity providers, retail and service providers, voluntary sector, researchers, policy and decision makers and practitioners. The aim was to improve understanding of how outdoor recreation can help fuel economic growth across the country, with presentations and workshops delving into areas such as business growth and jobs in the outdoors, the significance of outdoor recreation in the wider economy, how development is funded and its impacts on local communities.
