The Asia-Pacific Housing Forum is a biennial conference organized by Habitat for Humanity International. The forum gathers public, private and people sector stakeholders engaged in seeking solutions to poverty housing issues. The Reference Framework for European Sustainable Cities (RFSC) is an online toolkit designed to help cities promote and enhance their work on integrated sustainable urban development. It is available free of charge to all European local authorities and offers practical support in integrating sustainability principles into local policies and actions. The event presented the free toolkit which helps cities on their way towards integrated and sustainable urban development. Almost 200 delegates representing more than 20 European countries attended the event, contributing to the discussions on the future of the RFSC community and the role of cities in reaching the EU2020 goals. This pamphlet brings together the history columns published in Chartist since 2005. The intention of the column was to draw attention to the writings of earlier radicals and socialists. This was partly to inform current political activists of the history of the movement but also to provide inspiration. Each column provides a n extract the writings of the individual featured together with a short biography to set out the context in which the article or book extracted was written. This pamphlet covers the first fifty columns covering the period to 1907.
