A report, commissioned by the Department for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and government advisor Natural England, and carried out by the Economics for The Environment Consultancy and Sheffield Hallam University, has been published. The purpose of this report is to assess whether investment in Green Infrastructure (GI) increases economic growth, based on the available evidence.
