Policies that promote green growth need to be founded on a good understanding of the determinants of green growth and need to be supported with appropriate indicators to monitor progress and gauge results. It presents the OECD framework for monitoring progress towards green growth and a selection of updated indicators that illustrate the progress that OECD countries have made since the 1990s.

A new Council governing a new approach to skills and training is a key proposal in this report, commissioned by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) to fulfil part of the Action Plan in the industrial strategy for construction, Construction 2025. According to the CITB, the report aims to “help the industry with its thinking about what competence is and means, and how it is assessed and recorded.
