Commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and carried out by staff at the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research and Ipsos Mori, this interim report presents early findings from the evaluation of the removal of the Spare Room Subsidy. The DWP has also published a guide which provides ideas and good practice for all local authorities on the Removal of the Spare Room Subsidy. This is available here.

The government has published a consultation document containing proposals which would require councils to publish the most recent and subsequent valuations of their social housing stock every year.
