Measuring the impact of HS2 on the economy in terms of productivity, and hence GDP, the analysis suggests that the regions, and not London, as some have suggested will be the biggest winners from the project. The report, commissioned by HS2 Ltd, the company developing the new high speed link, gives a breakdown of the economic benefits for each HS2 city region.
