IPMS seeks to standardise the way office space is measured around the world, creating transparency and promoting market efficiency and confidence in the minds of all property users.  The rise in cross-border property investment and expansion by global corporate occupiers underpins the demand for transparency against the backdrop of many differing national and local measurement practices. A consultation draft was published in January 2014 with the deadline for comments set for 4 April 2014.
