Healthy High Streets

Four leading businesses, Boots UK, the Co-operative Group, Marks & Spencer and Santander, have joined forces with Business in the Community for a new campaign to help high streets prosper in 100 towns across the UK.  Over a three-year period, the campaign aims to create a network of local partnerships, provide access to business expertise, and resource High Street Champions from up to eight partner companies who will work to help high streets realise their potential.  The aims of the campaign are to increase footfall by 10%, reduce empty retail units by 20% and the creation of 3,000 jobs in the selected towns.
