The report surveyed more than 2,000 business men and women across five major markets, the UK, US, United Arab Emirates, China and India, to see how business professionals are using both virtual and face-to-face meetings, and the possible economic impact of those connections.

One of the tourism sectors in Europe that still remains largely untapped is accessible tourism for senior citizens and people with special needs. By developing this sector of tourism, the European Commission argues that we not only support equal opportunities and human rights but also improve the overall quality of tourism destinations, and have the opportunity to extend the tourism season. This is why the European Commission has decided to dedicate this year’s European Destinations of Excellence (EDEN) awards to accessible tourism destinations.

This was the 1st Euro – Asian Ski Resorts Conference, which aim to acquire an overview to further develop and expand the international ski tourism market in order to ensure its steady and sustainable growth. For this purpose, it aimed at exchanging state of the art experiences between the traditional, established hot spots of ski tourism and the new and developing ski resorts in winter destinations in Europe and Asia.
