The project aims at providing a better understanding of the opportunities and perspectives of regional airport investments in peripheral areas from a European and National perspective, as well as its contribution to regional economic development. The main aim is to provide inputs to policymakers on future options for infrastructure investment in peripheral regions in Europe. Cycle City Ambition Grants

On 30 January 2013, the Minister, Norman Baker, announced $42 million of investment in cycling which would comprise of two elements – an urban element and an element for rural areas covered by a national park. The cycle city ambition grants guidance details the scope of the fund, the assessment criteria and the application process. The application form and pro forma templates are both required when submitting a bid for cycle city ambition grant funding.
