CUE: The UK’s culture can seem simple to some and shocking to others. A true Brit loves to go down to the pub with their mates, have fish and chips on a Friday and a roast dinner on a Sunday. But what if you were to mix that with the sweet smell of couscous or tagine? What if you could speak two languages?
We meet 21 year-old Sara, who has Moroccan born and raised parents, however she was born and raised in Colchester, Essex who explores her two cultures on a self-reflect journey as part of BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra around the UK Series.
IN: “Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you could change one part of it…”
OUT: “…if they would they would be more religious than I am (oooh)”
Back Anno: Thank you to Sara and her family to being so open.
