Art for Youth London raise funds for charity

Art for Youth London is an art event which opens on 11th December at Mall Galleries. The event is hosted by Mall Galleries and Art for Youth London.

The main aim of the event is to raise funds for UK Youth, but also to help boost the careers of young artists by giving them a space to present their artworks alongside more established works of art.

UK Youth is a charity aiding young people in all communities. The charity works across 100 countries and aims to raise funds to support young artists.

Nearly 130 artists are expected to join the event, and more than 1000 exceptional works of art will be presented (priced from £200 to £5,000).

The events also gives artists opportunities to buy each other’s work – the event will showcase everything from watercolours to sculptures, and photographs to oil paintings and jewellery.

By purchasing art, attendees will be supporting many contemporary artists, but with every purchase they will change the lives of different artists around the country because 35% of the sales go to funding the UK Youth charity.

Ticket prices range from £18 to £25, but free entry will be offered on Wednesday 11th December from 11am to 4pm and Friday 13th December at the same time.

Funds will also be raised through silent, raffle auction and mystery cards.

This is not the first event of its kind. Art for Youth London has hosted these types of events for the past 7 years. The events have raised nearly £1,500,000 for the UK Youth charity.
